Green living, eco homes, eco design...however we call it we must consider inputting our best implementation into it. The obvious the causes are the furtive the advantages are. Have you ever thought how economical advantageous and fun would be to remodel your home with old materials from the construction. Many of our furniture are still in a very useful condition and it would be just a matter of a re-upholstering the old furniture and to sand and re-stain or re-paint the old wooden furniture and accessories.

There is of course a whole other experience with the new construction. It provides the opportunity of using the wild variety of new products in order to maximize the building energy saving from the very early stage of the construction.

As an example - instead of using steel lintels you should use pinch concrete lintels. Pour concrete over the exterior insulation to strengthen the effect.
To avoid the heat loss we have to consider double glazed K windows as it is recommended the bigger windows if possible to be placed on the South side of the building whilst on the North side if it is possible to create a skylight.

The solar panels are rather preferred method for high efficiency and low cost living space heating. The multiplied solar panels are suitable for larger residential and commercial developments and they are very effective for boiler heating as well for swimming pools and Jacuzzis...
If the interior design style allows use stone paving floors rather than laminate or a carpet, though a high quality wood floor would do well in preventing the heat loss
Many furniture manufacturers are already far ahead with vast choices of eco furniture. Considering that any design style eco furniture are easy findable and affordable, it shall not be a difficult accomplishment to create a truly eco-friendly home.
